libcupti7.5 software package provides NVIDIA CUDA Profiler Tools Interface runtime library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcupti7.5
libcupti7.5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcupti7.5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcupti7.5 *
You will get with libcupti7.5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
